Used to come here often when I lived nearby. Friendly neighborhood store! Owners are beyond nice and charismatic. Extremely convenient and good prices. Front desk cashier is the best! Miss this store a lot.
Fish, poultry, and beef butcher. Central American dairy products. Tamales on weekends. Basic household items for cleaning and maintenance. Solid prices.
I live close by on Nob Hill but always walk to the Whole Foods down in SOME. I found myself around Pacific Heights today and was really craving a good salad, so I slipped in here for the first time. I can't say I was impressed with this Whole Foods... The salad bar didn't have half the ingredients as the location in SOME does (no sundries tomatoes, no mixed olives, no red pepper slices, no bleu cheese crumbles, no cups out for the salad dressing). This location also felt much more cramped than others I've been to. However, I did love the free sample tables they had set up, and the checkout lines moved super fast. The produce section was top notch, as expected from Whole Foods. Overall, I'd go back because it's close and convenient... but I'll pass on the salad bar.
Went to get some Beef Flat Steak. While the Meat and Chicken Fajita was appropriately price. The Fruit and Vegetables looked Shabby. I only bought a Watermelon. I would suggest getting Vegetables somewhere else.
That market sell groceries and items for double price more than other markets around the area. Price are crazy and many low income people buy their groceries or any other item there just because is the nearest market and people sometimes doesn’t have a car to go another store. This store need to be reported is too much expensive they are increased prices horrible during Covid-19.
Cute little store. It's walking distance for me to get my carne asada meat.
The worst market ever they owe me $7 because the guy made a mistake when I went to buy tigo recharge but he diened beside that they don't give a receipt many times I had to ask for it they rip off people plz don't buy from them or at least be careful when you go there
Awesome little store to do some quick shopping or to just stock up on snacks. Very friendly owners. Definitely recommend this store!
